How to Make Great Movie Night Nachos

Looking for a great snack to enjoy while watching a movie or television show, I got you covered here.  With the option to go to the movies or to a bar and have some good snacks while enjoying either movies, sports or just conversations now gone I want to share how I make my nachos.

Ingredients:
  • Nachos (however many you can eat)
  • Shredded cheese (any type your prefer) enough to cover nachos maybe 1/2-1 pound
  • One tomato diced into small pieces
  • A few spoon fulls of guacamole (add more or less depending on your preference)
  • A few spoon fulls of sour cream (add more or less depending on your preference)
  • A few spoon fulls of salsa (add more or less depending on your preference)
  • As many sliced jalapeno peppers as you can handle

Instructions:
  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  2. While waiting for the oven to reach temperature get a baking sheet and place some parchment paper on the sheet. Place the tortilla chips (nachos) on the baking sheet and put some shredded cheese on top.  Parchment paper is better to use because once the cheese melts the nachos should slide off the paper rather than stick to aluminum foil.
  3. Place the warmed nachos (about 3-5 minutes in the oven) on a large plate or platter.  Get some sour cream, salsa, guacamole, chopped tomatoes and sliced jalapenos.  Use a spoon to place the various ingredients over the nachos
  4. Get some small plates, and napkins and enjoy.
There are a lot of variations you can do with this recipe.  You can add chilli, chicken, ground beef, pulled pork, queso, green onions, beans, black olives and just about anything you can think of.  Get creative and have some fun.
